I'm often disappointed. toasties can be boring and suppe disappointing. so I was very pleasantly surprised by this place in a quiet street i chesterfield. the toastia was the best I had ever eaten (and the best worth) and the tomato soup delicious. friendly owner. cakes also looked delicious. chesterfield seems to have very few independent such facilities, so this caffe is certainly worth a visit.
The toasties are incredibly filling, paired with delicious homemade chips and a large, steaming cup of coffee. The restaurant has a clean and beautiful atmosphere with excellent service. While the prices are slightly higher than average, the quality of the food makes it worth it.
I had a great experience at this restaurant during a busy lunchtime and I will definitely be returning. The carrot and walnut cake exceeded my expectations and was beautifully presented. The toffee sundae was delicious, although the fudge and toffee pieces were a bit too hard for my liking. The prices were a bit on the expensive side, especially when adding in the cost of two cold drinks with our desserts totaling around £18. The decor was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy conversation.
I recently had brunch at this restaurant and I was very impressed with the helpful staff and the delicious food. I ordered the plowman's breakfast, which was beautifully presented, and my wife had a sandwich that came with salad, coleslaw, and crisps. Both dishes were really tasty. We also couldn't resist getting a slice of cake to go, which looked absolutely delicious.
I enjoyed the food and drinks. I have been cafe hopping around Chesterfield for the last two weeks, this place is one of the good ones.
