Perhaps the owner should look around and realize that their restaurant is not the only one in the plaza. The portion sizes have been getting smaller each time we visit, but what really stood out to me was the lack of appreciation for our business and the rudeness we encountered. When we arrived at 2:10pm, we discovered that we had missed the lunch buffet. We sat down after the waitress greeted us and asked if we would be ordering. When I requested menus, she seemed annoyed. Our food arrived quickly, but as we began eating, the owner approached us and rushed us to finish as he had closed at 2pm. This lack of service and gratitude prompted me to request a take-out container, knowing I would not return. I would rather spend my money where I am valued as a customer.
I used to frequent this restaurant often, but it has gradually deteriorated over time. The service is extremely slow, even when the restaurant is not busy. It took an hour for our food to be served after we ordered, and when it arrived, it was just average. I have a good relationship with the owners, but I can't justify returning to a place that consistently provides mediocre experiences. There are other dining options in town that are more deserving of your business and offer much tastier food. It's truly disappointing.
We go in and eat they are having buffet I asked if we could order from the menu she says yes. So we do the place smelled good so we were looking forward to our meal. Anyway we watch her take stuff off the buffet on a plate. So I said that not ours right? Oh no she says. Then when we get our food it was overcooked mush I am sure it was off the buffet. Everything we ate was overcooked not fresh and lukewarm
The food is alright and nothing to write home to mom about. I do sometimes wonder if they truly care about their restaurant. Their dinner hours start at 4:30pm. However, if you try phoning to place an order around 4:30, they might not answer until 4:45 or even 5pm...that's because they haven't even opened yet. Furthermore, if you place an order right when they open, be prepared to wait at least 45 mins to get your food because they have to get the kitchen ready (i.e. preheat the oven etc. I've worked in a restaurant before and if you say you're open for business at 4:30pm, there is already someone there at least one hour prior to opening to get the kitchen ready. It really makes you wonder if the owners really care about the food they're serving if they don't care to open on time.
