Northlakes Drive In - Chetek

Busy place. Two waitresses running steady and still cheerful. Excellent service and food came quickly. I'm a chili dog fan and always looking for one. We had the foot long chili cheese Hotdogs. I just want others scouts to know , that there is no meat with the chili just sauce. Also no shredded cheese but cheese sauce. Personally I would prefer a fat hotdog. This place used to have quick awesome service and waitresses were nice and attentive. Food used to be good too, now the lobby is closed because of “Covid” even though we are in Wisconsin where those rules shouldn’t apply just an excuse for laziness. Took the waitress 15 min to just come to our picnic table. Got our food in to go boxes for some reason like we were leaving, not how a drive inn should be if someone is staying to eat. Again laziness with doing the dishes I’m sure. Last but not least the food was TERRIBLE and my grilled chicken sandwich tasted worse than a mcchicken and my boyfriends pizza burger which used to be good here looked gray in color and had no toppings on but melted cheese and was disgusting. Writing this in hopes that the owner takes more control over their business!

Delish! Loved the crunchy onion rings, fish sandwich, and Root Beer Cooler!
