The food was ok, but definitely not the best japanese food I ate in Chiang Mai. The service was not so good. She smiled a lot, but her English was very poor, so she didn't understand us. I think that even without the language, she could see that all of us (5 people) share all the food together and need some plates. We didn't get any plates for the whole time and even the cutlery we had to take by ourselves after we saw where they keep it, because we've got only one!
We checked into our hotel at 9.30pm and were looking for somewhere that would be open late. They advertised being open until 11.30pm so we got a Bolt over the arriving at about 10pm. I had read some of the lower rated reviews but decided to try it anyway. Oh dear. We were the only customers, the food came very quickly and was dreadful. My gyoza was clearly more freshly made, my chicken was tough. But worse of all they had no sake!!! I wish I had gone somewhere else.
Cozy izakaya from the most beautiful lady. The prices were very decent and still my favorites all the time: Jellyfish in Sesamöl and Tako wasabi.... highly recommended
I came to the restaurant on the rain night. No customer at all. I command Miso wheels. It was good. I like the soup with onion, carrot and other vigils in it. I had the chance to talk to the lady, the owner. She's so nice. I also like the mood as the restaurant is really in Japan. There is only the owner and chief coz of Kovid. So sad... Hopefully it'll be better soon.
