Included in our heritage walk was a light buffet at this unique destination. We were caught unawares when we were told we would descend 2-3 floors below this building into the cellars. Sloped ramps and even elevators were available to make this journey easily achievable for senior citizens as well as parents with prams. A small spread of bruschetta (toasted Italian bread soaked in olive oil and served with vairiety of sauces of garlic and/or tomato) and focaccia (herbal Italian bread); both typical local dishes of Genoa, were laid on tables for tasting alongwith a glass of champagne or clear water. Spending 15-20 minutes as a breather during our heritage walk and with neat and clean washroom amenities this place was a welcome break. Do visit for its unique setting and tasting/buying local delicacies/sauces.
Actually I came by myself but was so surprised when I seen pizza by the meter . This place is so unique as it’s built right into the side of the mountain. The service and pizza were great . Parking is across the road but it doesn’t seem to matter much to most customers . The view at night is beautiful from the front dining room . I highly recommend having a pizza here . Everyone treated me so nice .
Great pizza let down by bad service. Made to feel a nuisance for going in to ask if we could make a reservation for dinner that night. Seriously? In a restaurant? The front of house lady needs a personality transplant.
Pizza is not good, very bad quality. Cant speak english, not english menu card. No tasty food .....
A firm delightful family favourite especially when in a large group, with pizza served on wooden racks placed on the table and raised up. They'll bring you a selection of many square pizzas a true pizza feast. We, and our Italian relatives, visit every time we're staying in Rapallo, which is a 15 25 minute drive away. If you've got a car it's well worth the drive for a relatively cheap evening pizza or other Italian meal. Follow the main coast road from Rapallo to Chiavari and it's on the left, right up to the road side on a long downhill stretch with the car park on the opposite side of the road.
