Brewer Coffee Custard - Chicago

Stopped at this spot to support small business owners and to take a couple zooms with a coffee and sandwich. This owner or gentleman was rude and confrontational because I was taking a zoom in his empty restaurant and I had a monitor. I decided to stay to finish my meetings and breakfast but was mean mugged the whole time. Customer service sucks here, maybe they need young staff who are more relaxed. I will never return again!!

Great Coffee and Latte. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the banana bread (read twice! is nothing short of amazing! The owners (I think were friendly and we had a nice chat after breakfast. I highly recommend!

Today is my second time here and both time the food have been great. Super super fresh. I had the Caesar chicken salad and let me tell you it's probably one of the freshest salads I've ever had. It's my new coffee stop ?

I went around midday, midweek to get something warm to drink. This was right around the corner from my office so I decided to give it a shot because it had really good reviews.The prices were really good for the portion sizes so I did not hesitate to order from here. The staff was very nice and polite. They were also very quick as I placed my order and everything was ready in under 10 minutes. I got a chai tea latte and a breakfast sandwich. The drink was delicious and a good temperature, not too hot or lacking flavor. The sandwich was a pretty decent size, but even more important it had good portions of the egg and bacon strips. If they had a bagel option I would have been even happier but the English muffin was toasted nicely so no complaints!!! I definitely recommend this establishment and will be coming back.Parking: The streets aren't too packed but it is street parking in the city. So being cautious of no parking times and days are the only issue. After circling around once I did find a spot nearby.

So my sister and I are doing a review of all things south side Chicago. This was the second stop (first was Dan Ryan woods walking trail. Which was awesome) Brewer coffee and custard is a go to cafe located in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood. The staff was friendly and my usual go-to Chai latte (with oat milk) was delicious. And I appreciated that it didn't burn my tongue at the first taste. I will definitely be back to try out some of their food options.
