Cafe Colao - Chicago

If I could give this place 6 stars, I absolutely would! The quality is exceptional, with fresh ingredients prepared daily. The service is outstanding—what's not to love? Even the drinks deserve 6 stars!

I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha with oat milk and a guava cheese tart, both for under $10, and they were delicious! The oat milk was about $0.95 extra. I chose to sit at the bar counter to work on my laptop. The staff were friendly and courteous. There are a few seats at the ordering counter, some tables inside, and a handful of outdoor tables. Please note that there are no public restrooms available.

I absolutely adore this place and wish I could visit every day, but as a broke night owl, their early closing hours make it tough. The sandwiches and coffee are fantastic, and the staff is consistently friendly. The atmosphere of the building is charming and inviting.

One of my top places in Chicago! The bread is freshly made right there, and it's absolutely fantastic! I always order the breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese. I highly recommend getting it to-go, especially on a nice day, so you can enjoy a little picnic in Humboldt Park, just a few blocks away.

I make it a point to stop here almost every time in the area. The staff is always friendly and the food and drinks are great. The guava cheese tart and doughnuts are both must-try. But you can't really go wrong with any of their selection.Food: 5/5
