Cole's - Chicago

This place is a fantastic, laid-back dive bar that I highly recommend for a fun night out. Plus, they have a pool table!

I'm not sure if they still have this requirement, but I was turned away because I didn't have the COVID vaccine. So I ended up going to another bar down the block.

The bar has a great atmosphere and reasonable prices, but the service was quite slow. The bartender seemed preoccupied with his phone.

No food... a counter culture dive bar although with no Pabst Blue ribbon! Ideal if you are hiding from improved spaces and just want to have a darned beer at a fair price and sit and visit with a friend. Bicycle rack right out front.

I love dives and Cole’s has been added to the list. A diverse range of people and styles were here on a Friday night. I didn’t pay to see the live music in the back but it sounded great from the bar. They have a photobooth that does “darkroom” pictures, a pool table, local art adorning the walls, cute wooden bench booths, and good vibes all around.
