Dim Dim - Chicago

The chop meat on rice was good. Shrimp egg foo young was a little burned and boiled over. dim mama is good. edit: went back two days ago to order hackfleisch w/ ei over reis again and was shocked to me $12.95 I went back to confirm that they didn't charge me a price because it was a reisbox. with the language barrier you mentioned food costs, but wow, only wow. he has been enough for $8.45 as gourmet foods (may may), but it is not $4.50 better!

Very chill dim sum location, in contrast to other major restaurants

What’s not to like? Authentic and tasty dim sum (and this is coming from a Hong Kong/Vancouver girl), easy parking, great prices, no line. Not a fancy place but we care about the food not decor. Def a local clientele but non Chinese should not worry as menu has pictures of all options. Also dim sum did not leave me super thirsty like other places. The adjoining bakery made it convenient to purchase some buns to go.

Decent dimsum. Made fresh it seems. Bakery is pretty good espeically the dantat (egg custard small pies). Laicha (milk tea) is traditional very strong. Most of the things tasted good. We'll be back as we stay in the area for a while.
