Dollop Coffee- Gold Coast - Chicago

I recently chose to work remotely from this café one morning. It has a great location and serves good coffee, but it really could use a thorough cleaning and more comfortable seating for a remote working setup. Additionally, they do not accept cash. While there are better Dollop locations (like on E. Ohio), they also tend to have uncomfortable seating for long periods. There are definitely better options in the neighborhood.

I'm writing this review while savoring an oat milk mocha and a savory pastry. This café is conveniently situated in the business district of Chicago. Its interior design is stylish, warm, and inviting. The couches and sofas are incredibly comfortable. The coffee is excellent, the pastries are delicious, and the service is just right. The patio also looks lovely, but today is a bit too chilly to sit outside. This café has quickly become one of my favorites in Chicago. I’d rate it a perfect 10/10.

The barista was quite bothersome and made assumptions about my order. This is the second time I've ordered a simple macchiato, and she still felt the need to ask for clarification. Unless I have a question, I'm clearly ordering what I want. She really needs better training in basic customer service skills, or I may have to stop coming here altogether.

Worth the walk. Got a latte, great. Got a everything bagel with chive spread, delicious. Got a glaze doughnut, bomb!

Good coffee. Good vibes. The employee, Omar, brought a great energy and was quick to make drinks and food. Would reccomend ?
