Emerald City Coffee - Chicago

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. They offer fantastic drinks and delicious food, along with outstanding service. There's also a wonderful and diverse group of people who frequent this place every day, giving it a true "coffee house" atmosphere.

I've visited several coffee shops, and this one is definitely the best I've been to in a while. The artwork, music, and ambiance create the perfect environment for working, studying, or simply relaxing. I really enjoyed the pesto mozzarella bagel sandwich, but the iced café latte needed a bit of sugar. I would love to come back here to work if they could stay open until 6 or 7 pm.

I think this is a fantastic place! I live right across the street and visit frequently. The coffee is excellent, and the bagel sandwiches and breakfast burritos are delicious. There are two seating areas where you can relax, read, or work on your laptop. Every staff member I've encountered has been friendly and dedicated. Thank you for welcoming me; I'm truly grateful to have you in my neighborhood! Much love!

I love the atmosphere of Emerald City! My favorite things about this shop are the breakfast tacos, the house made lavender syrup, and the daily trivia! The staff is always awesome, whether it’s first thing in the morning or right before close. This place is a neighborhood staple if you’re in the area, and if you’re just passing through I highly recommend you stop in to pick up some nice treats. I have not had everything on the menu, but I’ve only ever had one drink that I didn’t like. Otherwise it’s consistently good, especially the salsa and (again) the house made lavender syrup!
