Grill On 21 - Chicago

We visited on a Sunday night while the polar vortex had hit so it was pretty quiet at the venue. Lovely, well appointed dining room, with a slick bar and private dining available. Everyone was super friendly. Great veg forward menu, extra points as this is really a steak house. Drinks were excellent. We focused on the roasted veggies (cauliflower, ratatouille, turnip/artichoke) and fish (ahi tuna and salmon) and these were all on point, Finished up with the flourless chocolate cake, the chef must of known my wife enjoys gelato as there was an extra large helping included.

Nice brunch experience, good food and service, definitely a check list venue!

Cozy dining room with outstanding service and excellent food. A bit hard to find, but worth the extra effort.

Drinks are amazing, service was lacking. Waiter definitely needed to check in on us more frequently. It was a pre fixed menu and all four of us were extremely disappointed in all the dishes they provided except for the bisque soup. The dover sole have a tone of bones in it. The key lime dessert tasted like raw eggs, it was awful. I would only come back here for drinks as their ambiance is nice but nothing else. Truly wanted this place to be good but it wasn’t.

Beautiful decor, lovely music. The food however was not worth what they were charging
