Headquarters Beercade - Chicago

A place for adult to get drinks and eat and play video games is not completely unique. places like dave busters are jumped at many places, but not many of these places are like headquarter beercade. first it is clearly grown. No one under 21 is allowed. do not make a mistake, is a bar. if you want a place to play video game without children run on this wisely better than dave and busters or one of his clones. second, most games are free. with only a few exceptions they can play as much as they want free. Third, for anyone who grew up to pay video games from the 1980s to the late 1990s, this place will bring a lot of nostalgic fun and good memories back. in a recent visit I played pole position, area 51 and nfl flash, just to name a few. they also have a lot of flipper machines. they also have some newer, exclusive games like mortal combat 11. my waiter was even enthusiastic about playing. fourth, their food and drinks are great. on a last trip I ordered hurrikanfries and chicken onions. the hurrikan fries where unique and tasty. I can only say that they lubricated like sushi, but worked. the chicken tacos were deep fried and also delicious. I also enjoyed their drinks. I ordered the mr. potato head, a whisky potion with kartoffel chips and the go ask the magician, a sweet gin potion. over all the drinks and eating were great, but playing the free old school games was even better.

For the first time in hq beercade and had such an unforgettable night with my friends. the flipper machines and most arcade games are free, the eating drinks were great, and the personal was extremely courteous. the hurrikanfries were a fave among all, as well as the pizzas we ordered. I also highly recommend her clever girl cocktail for something refreshing or the pop culture cocktail for something subtle sweet. shoutout to matte for the amazing hospitality! recommend hq for a nostalgic and funny night outside.

STOP BY. Food is great and drinks are great. Our bartender Luke was super helpful and very attentive. Also, THE GAMES ARE FREE!!! You get a drink and play for free all night! So so awesome. Never stopped by a place with free games before. So glad we stopped by.

This was such a fun experience! All of the games are free, so drink and play to your heart's content. Had a great time playing around and the beer list was good, too. Definitely enjoyed the nostalgia factor. They had older movies playing, too. Bloodsport was on the TV when we were there. They have a lot of older games and some much newer ones, too. The pinball was great and several different Mortal Kombats!

I LOVE HQ Beercade! I can't believe that they offer free arcade games! Also, the drinks were some of the best I've ever had. They are also beautiful! The games are so fun and some are very nostalgic. I haven't played Frogger since I was 8 years old so it was fun to see the original game again!
