I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars because the decor and ambiance is amazing and you really can't fault the chef on anything, the food was spectacular.
So I would've given this place 5 stars, but my husband (who knows a lot more about Indian food) said he'd only give it 3, so I had to go with the
My wife and I went for dinner on Wednesday, just before Xmas at 5:15 p.m. , before the crowds came in. We spent about $95 (it is pricy, I give 2/5 for that . We liked the saag-paneer daal makhni. The luchha pratha was crisp tasty, but half of it was burnt, as was the tandoori roti (unfortunately, ALL Indian restaurants use too high tandoor temperature and thus burn the back side which sticks to the wall; it was not like that 30-35 years back when naan and tandoori roti used to be white, soft not burnt . Samosas, as always were good, Service was quick and the waiter was very pleasant efficient. I give service on that day a 5/5. All staff were decked for the season, which gave a pleasant atmosphere. The happy hour included onion pakoras (I did not like and gole gappy shots. I wish they had better choices.
This is the best Indian restaurant in town for brunch. All the food is amazing delicious and very nice presentation and staff are great. Always have to comeback and bring friends.
