Mcdonald's - Chicago

Not gonna rate the food because everyone already knows McDonalds is like manna from heaven when you have the craving for it. Instead, I'm rating the employees. I've never been greeted with people anything other than friendly, accommodating, and overall pleasant to interact with. They are pretty accurate with orders and put them through very quickly which is the point of fast food, amiright? Overall, one of the better locations.

What a joke! 15+ minutes to sit in drive-through waiting for a chicken sandwich. First I was told it's because of the bacon, then I was told it takes 8 to 9 minutes to cook the chicken. Both of which are not true. I worked in Food service in my youth and know that that is not how it works. Also, they are pulling a scam on McDonald's corporate. They close out the ticket when they make you pull and park to the side. Makes it look like they're on time and we all know that they aren't. Skip this location, you're better off at another spot. The one on North Avenue and Kedzie is always quick and efficient.

This place needs a good cleaning. Bathroom smells like sewer (the baby changer is ripped off the wall missing) and there's stains that can be cleaned and wiped down in the bathroom and all over the dining area.

I feel like a Karen writing a review for a literal Mcdonald's, but if you're coming here to use the drive thru please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I come here pretty consistently but somethings changed with management these past few months with the drive thru time, making it so quite literally every person has to pull around to wait for their food. Unless you're coming here when it's dead empty, there's a line of cars wrapped around the place waiting for their drive thru order. This defeats the purpose of a drive thru. I'll always just get a mcchicken and small fry, pretty staple items for a Mcds, yet i'll find myself waiting up to 15 minutes in the curbside pickup spot. It's just absurd. With all that being said, I have no hate towards the staff- they've always been incredibly nice and friendly for how busy they are. Very rarely have they messed up my order as well. And by the way, this whole review was written while waiting for my order :

I've always had great experiences at this McDonald's with drive-thru and curbside pick-up. The food is always hot, fresh, and packed well. It has made me constantly come back for more! I did have a minor issue with my mobile app order recently, where I tried to contact corporate to resolve. I figured corporate could resolve it for me, as I didn't mean for them to call the store and have the General Manager (Maria) call me. She was very apologetic (she didn't have to be), offered me a solution, offered a refund, and offered a free meal the next time that I came. She kept insisting and offering to make up for it even as I kept apologizing and told her it was just a minor thing and that all of this wasn't needed! I very much appreciated her as she went over and beyond in customer service because she had stated she wanted to make all her customers happy.
