We got the braised beef noodles, the pork rib noodles and the pork intestine noodles, and they were all quite flavorful! We ordered mild so it wasn’t spicy, and the portion sizes are pretty big, so think twice before doing an add-on. Service was pretty quick too, would totally recommend!
Good noodles! It's quite spicy. The mild is more like a medium at other restaurants. The noodles are a bit on the pricier side. I paid a bit over $16 for my bowl of glass noodles with pork belly. I've been here several times and I saw they replaced the bok choy with lettuce. It's a small change but it's noticeable when they're charging so much. I usually also get the soy milk. Today's soy milk had a strange burnt taste though.
We got takeout from here and had some great chicken and noodles. Together we ordered: pork dumplings (delicious and flavorful) egg bing (ok) crispy diced chicken with serrano peppers (spicy, crispy, and addictive) pineapple sweet and sour pork (ok) pepper salt crispy fried pork (surely crispy and the batter is sticky) diced chicken with serrano peppers over noodles (the sauce really gave the noodles wings and made it the spicy highlight of the meal) beef chow mein (smoky, a bit oily, and definitely one of the classic)I think the noodles dish would be even better at the restaurant!
The braised beef hot sour sweet potato noodle dish was a gorgeous and flavorful entree (large portion). We also enjoyed the preserved egg with tofu
I'm obsessed. The Chungking noodle soup with braised pork belly is my favorite, so far. The noodles are scrumptious and the broth is flavorful with just a little kick (I get mild), that it's hard to pick which part is best. With this dish and a tea, it's about $23. The soup is very filling and I can't wait to have it again!Food: 5/5
