Mixteco Grill - Chicago

The dining experience was quite enjoyable, though the restaurant wasn't very crowded. It would be even better if they had some outdoor seating available.

The food was outstanding! The flavors were extraordinary, and everything was truly fantastic. The guacamole was the best we've ever had. However, the noise level in the main dining room was quite high at 6:30 or 7:00 on a Saturday night. (I've heard it's much quieter during the weekdays.) Overall, the dining experience was remarkable and surpassed our expectations. The server was knowledgeable and offered great recommendations.

The Mexican cuisine here is absolutely delicious, and the BYOB option is a great bonus! The fish tacos are fantastic, just like everything else we tried. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Mixteco is one of my favorite Chicago restaurants. The food is absolutely delicious and some of the most authentic food you can get in Chicago. I highly recommend the enchiladas mole. The service is always outstanding and I love that it is BYOB.

We have been to Mixteco many times over the years (even before they opened up the back room) and have never had a bad meal there. Their sauces are boss! We recommend getting a reservation because it can get packed. It is also quite noisy and the food can sometimes come a little too quickly for our tastes (we want to chill with our wine a bit). A great BYOB!!
