New Grand Chinese Kitchen - Chicago

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered the bourbon chicken, but it had an unpleasant vinegar taste, and the chicken thighs were undercooked. In fact, I ended up giving my meal to a homeless man who mentioned he had the same issues with it. He wasn’t being ungrateful; he was just being honest! I highly recommend going next door to Wayne's BBQ instead; you definitely won't regret it! Food rating: 1/5.

I ordered the orange chicken that you see right when you enter the restaurant. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry, and the sauce was overly greasy. I also tried the shrimp fried rice, but that was greasy as well—so much so that you could actually smell it. I visited around 2 PM, and the lighting in the place was quite dim. They didn't mention any specials, which was disappointing. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. After eating, I felt a bit unwell. I've been to this mall many times but had never eaten here before, not even when I used to work at Reggio's Pizza. I guess there's a first time for everything.

Absolutely delicious! This was my first time visiting, and it was fantastic—served hot and with generous portions. I have no complaints at all!

The worst egg foo young EVER!! Rice was so dry… Used to be one of the best not anymore YUCK!!!
