We felt very COVID-comfortable, people were spaced apart, all staff masked, patrons following precautions. No complaints , just comments: Strange that server had to explain that margarita was a smaller drink than the others...keep sizes consistent Chicken tenders were tough Appetizers served served without plates Nachos were really, really good, chips had great flavor. We told EVERYONE about this bar, looking forward to next year!!
We loved it except our servicer Peyton made us PAY in cash in advance which is unheard of. My husband is a retired policeman, my girlfriend is a retired principal and I just retired from white collar County government and we all live downtown Chicago. We felt targeted..the overpriced drink was weak but the food was the only redeeming factor and I still gave her 18% gratuity. Never AGAIN!
Milkshake machine was down.. so the kids couldn't order cool desserts.. Service was slow and the place wasn't busy.. ordered a drink and it was missing all the fancy things that were pictured..
We were seated upfront by the entrance. It was cold sitting there by the door. Also, we felt like we did not get to see the decor. Food was average. They were out of a lot of beers. No milkshakes for the kids. We took a few pictures which was nice. Overall though, not worth the drive from the burbs in my opinion.
The service was horrible. The security guard accosted us as we entered the restaurant and demanded to know if we had reservations. He questioned the time of our reservation and then asked the hostess to check and decide if we can dine. Furthermore, no one came to our table to greet us and take our drink order. I had to ask the very nice hostess for some assistance. She pleaded with server, Tori K. to take our order. So of course, she wasn’t nice and pleasant as she approached our table. The food came out really fast. The hostess and kitchen staff were very nice. However, there needs to be a training on customer service for the waitresses and front door security guard. Lastly, the restaurant marked us down as canceling/no show on Open Table.
