Feedback gevenThe gnocchi at this restaurant is absolutely superb. I would happily eat it for every meal if I could. The entire dining experience was top notch, from the friendly hostess to the attentive staff. I highly suggest trying the burrata with tomato jam, it was fantastic. This place is definitely a strong contender for our go-to neighborhood spot!
Went on a date here with my wife, an absolutely lovely romantic neighborhood spot. Food is top quality, dishes are appropriately sized, not too big, not too small. The regularly Change menu items and we had really fresh food the day we attended. There areabout a dozen seats at the bar for walk-ins but otherwise a reservation would be recommended since it's such a small place. Onlydark spot was the grilled octopus appetizer which was overcooked and excruciatingly spicy with a strange flavor profile. Muscleswere spectacular as was the Autumn salad and they make a phenomenal steak.
Truly the best Italian food in the city. The mussels are insane. We sopped up every bit of the sauce left. Wait staff is also great but their hostess is so unpleasant. We went without a reservation one night (which was a mistake on our part, but we werewilling to wait). She let us know that she wouldn 't be able to seat us. When we asked how long the wait was she said, "A while. "We went next door to Que Rico for a drink instead. We sat down and I was able to make a reservation online at Sal 's for 10minutes later. We went at the scheduled time and were sat by the same hostess immediately. We continue to go because the food isincredible but I have yet to see this lady crack even the slightest smile.
Great experience from start to finish. The hostess was very welcoming, and the staff was great throughout the dinner. Highly recommend the burrata which is served with a tomato jam, it was excellent. Definitely in the running for our favoriteneighborhood spot!
The shrimp and sausage over mashed potato appetizer dish was one of the best, more of a dish than a shareable appetizer but very good. Ordered the chicken parmesan with spaghetti and a side of meatballs. Overall I was satisfied and it was good, but thisisn?t my first rodeo. Meatballs were tough and seasoning was off, almost tasted frozen, the sauce was amazing, noodles wereslightly under cooked according to my wife and overall seasoning issues that you normally find in an ?average? Italianrestaurant. So I give 8/10 or 4 stars . P.S. I definitely recommend the shrimp appetizer dish, but perhaps you both get yourown. Unless you don?t mind eating from the same bowl
