It's conveniently located near a train station. Which is great but beware that homeless peoplewill be asking you to get them a donut too.
Lots of fun flavors to choose from and the staff was nice! My wife and I got a double chocolate old fashioned, a cinnamon sugar cake, a glazed pistachio and a fluff filled Bismarck. The frostings, icings and fillings were great, but I wasn?t reallythrilled about the pastry itself on the two yeast donuts (pistachio and Bismarck). It was a little tougher and denser than Iwould have liked/expected, and that?s the reason for only giving four stars. It is a bit expensive too, but we would both comeback again.
Delicious donuts alert!! This is a nice little gem right next to the bus station or better said behind it. They have seating inside. Donuts are Delicious. Staff was super nice and kind. We had a great time here!
Cute little donut and coffee joint, perfect for cold weather! Good vibes and nice environment. Lots of donuts to choose from. There are also hot breakfast sandwich options. Coffee is also great and the folks here are friendly! There are a few tables forindoor seating!
A great place for a quick sweet treat and fresh cup of coffee! They 've got a large selection of both classic and specialty cakes. My husband and I grabbed four the Peanut Butter Pocket, Blueberry Cream Cheese Pocket, Buttercream Bismark and BirthdayCake Donut. The pockets are basically filled donuts. I didn 't think my Blueberry Cream Cheese Pocket was all to great. Thecream cheese filling was almost tasteless and the only part that was blueberry was the miniscule dollop of over sweetened jamplace on the top. The glaze around it was a great inclusion but super duper messy. A ton flaked off which eat bite. Neither ofus were impressed by the Peanut Butter Pocket. The PB filling was insanely dry. On the flip side, the other two were delish. The Buttercream Bismark filling was phenomenal. It was super thick and there was a generous amount. It paired well with thechocolate frosting. The real winner was the Birthday Cake Donut. The vanilla glaze was almost like candy. It smooth, creamy andblended deliciously with the moist, vanilla cake. Sometimes, simple is better. : Prices are a tad high, too, IMO. All fourdonuts and a small house coffee was $23.50. The donuts are big, though, so it 's slightly justified. But I 've had better donutsfor far less in Chicago. Not sure if I will be back but I 'm glad I have Stan 's a shot.
