This restaurant exudes a charming neighborhood vibe that feels like something out of a good book or movie. They host live bands and open mic nights occasionally. Tucked away from the main street, it's a hidden gem that you have to seek out. Chicago, cherish these types of places as they are becoming increasingly rare.

Great place to hang and see local bands. Nice staff. Things get bumping from 8-11pm

The Gallery Cabaret has been in business long enough to know what Chicago likes. No nonsense bar offering open mics and great jazz/blues on select evenings. The atmosphere is like an old jazz club meets an old school Chicago speakeasy. Mr. G who runs the soundboard is strictly pro, and does what's needed to make the musicians sound just right. The bar service is attentive, friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. Check the GC out!!

Good little bar, I always like bars that are within residential areas, a rarity in this country. It makes the place feel more alive and within the community it serves. They have live music here, and the drink prices are standard
