The Great American Bagel - Chicago

It's alright, I think this place depends what you come here for, the bagels themselves tasted alright, but personally I did not enjoy the bagel sandwiches here they lacked flavor for me majorly compared to other similar places, and I will not be coming back here. Prices are reasonable for bagel sandwiches, but then I'd pay a few bucks more at another place for more flavor.

Great variety of bagels and sandwiches. Friendly staff, a little pricey for what you are getting but on par w the area. No plant-based meat options. Overall food is decent.

These aren’t bagels. These are just pieces of bland, warmed up bread. Ordered several different kinds of bagels and a few different sandwiches. All of the bagels were super bready — super soft to the touch, very light and fluffy. None were chewy or had a crackly crust or the micro blisters you get from boiling. None had any flavor.If you like pre-packaged, grocery store bagels — these will work. If you’re looking for a BAGEL, bagel, this is not the spot. Fwiw, I added bacon for $2 to one of the breakfast sandos and had to do a thorough investigation to even identify it. They put the smallest, thinnest, wimpiest slice in just to give you a faint idea of bacon.

I have frequented this bakery many times. The food is great, but some staff seem to take issue with the color of my skin.

The most delicious bagels I have ever eaten! Truly delicious. Service is great and what else can I say other than you gotta try this place!
