Vinci - Chicago

Our waiter was excellent. Explained courts and gave great recommendations. Food meets more than our expectations.

I've been trying to go to Vinci for 10+ years and FINALLY made it...did not disappoint! Great service, exceptional food, friendly atmosphere! I went with three friends and we all loved it, would go back in a heartbeat!

The perfect Italian restaurant in the theater district along Halstead. We had a great salad and split the family portion of ravioli with spinach and cheeses. We haven't been in a while but will definitely go back soon.

We had guests visiting for the Thanksgiving weekend and my husband and I suggested Vinci for a post-Thanksgiving dinner. The food and service were excellent. Included in our group were 2 children and they particularly liked the pizza Margarita, which I also found to be delicious. We also ordered several pasta dishes—the squid ink with shrimp was superb as was the penne à la vodka and a gnocchi dish. We also ordered several delicious salads —a caprese and a mixed green—which we all shared and found to be excellent. A bottle of a fine Gavi wine was a perfect match for a simple but wonderful dinner.

We were a party of six and the staff in Vinci took great care of us. Insurgent service that awaited our needs, and the food was excellent.
