Zapp Thai - Chicago

Ordered takeout on a Saturday night, everything was prepared quickly and exactly as we ordered. The food was delicious! We like it spicy and level 3 of spice was perfect for us. Orange chicken was extremely tender and flavorful and the noodle dish was excellent as well. We highly recommend Zapp Thai and will be back!

Thought I'd try this place out. Loved the Chinese restaurant that was there prior. NO LUNCH special on the weekends for Zapp. Ordered crab rangoon, only 5 pieces that the edges were over fried, burnt, and the filing was not even one bite. Also, ordered chicken cashew entree ... wow, maybe 5 small pieces of chicken maybe 2 cashews, small container was not even full. Oh, and the small container of white rice that goes with it was only 3/4 full, not even packed down like Chinese places do. Shocked with all the positive reviews. Spent $19 on the smallest portion of food that I have ever gotten. So close to my home, and I will never buy anything from them again. Also, asked for the spicy stuff on the side, he forgot to put it in the bag. Sorry Zapp, price and quantity is truly sad. It was like an appetizer I split with my husband, and we were still hungry, we ordered a pizza.

Didn't realize this was a Thai restaurant. Great addition to the nieghborhood. The food is excellent. We ordered the egg rolls, ginger chicken and panang beef curry. It didn't disappoint. We will be back!

My new favorite Thai food in the area. I've eaten A LOT of different Thai food, and this place is in the top two I've had in Chicago. We've had green curry, red curry, Panang curry, pad khee mao, pad see ew, and a few different appetizers. Everything was fresh, made to order, and delicious. To top it off, the proprietor/chef is also very sweet and working hard to keep his business going. If you like Thai and believe in supporting local businesses, add this to your list of frequent go-tos!

The food is delicious ! So happy to have this great Thai food near by! The chicken fried rice and wings are a must !
