The White Horse Inn - Chichester

I recently discovered this amazing restaurant and I am so glad I did! From the warm and friendly welcome upon arrival to the delicious crispy beef starter, followed by an exceptional fillet steak sourced from Knepp Castle and expertly cooked by Ben Miller from MasterChef, and finished with a delightful crumble, everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. Although I have not stayed in the rooms myself, friends who have stayed there say they are heavenly. If you have the opportunity, be sure to visit - you will definitely want to come back.

My husband and I visited the restaurant on Valentine's evening and were blown away by the experience. We have dined here before and always enjoyed it, but now with the new chef Ben Miller, the food is on a whole other level. It was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The General Manager, Billy, and his wife Emma were extremely professional and had everything just right - the mood, lighting, and atmosphere were perfect, making us feel instantly relaxed. Emma even went above and beyond by creating beautiful origami Valentine's bows and meticulously folding the napkins. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit. Can't wait to go back!

We have eaten here a few times and the food is always excellent (the beef fillet yesterday was one of the best things either of us had ever tasted). There is always a great selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options and the wine list is great. The service is the perfect balance of attentive without being too much and the welcome is always warm. Such an absolute gem would highly recommend.

Billy accommodated us when I thought I had booked a family meal but hadn’t. We have had several meals here and they have all been great. The food is delicious, they cater for GF and vegan, The staff are attentive and friendly. The disabled facilities are wonderful. The decor is beautiful and the history is very interesting. A fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend.
