Happy Garden - Chico

Without a doubt, this is the best Chinese food in Chico. The noodles are genuinely delicious—neither dry nor greasy. The customer service is exceptional; they are very accommodating when it comes to substituting menu items in combos. Plus, when you call ahead, your food is ready in 10 minutes or less. My favorite dish is the crispy eggplant combo. This will always be my go-to spot for Chinese food, and I’m grateful it’s so convenient for me. And don’t forget, the to-go plates are generous enough to provide 2-3 meals!

There's not much more to say about how fantastic this restaurant is. The service is prompt and attentive, the prices are reasonable for the quality, and it's not overly crowded from Tuesday to Thursday. They offer great lunch specials as well, and the dinner options for 2-3 people make it a perfect spot for a date night. It's a little slice of heaven that I plan to keep enjoying for years to come!

Food was fast, hit and tasty. The seat was in stands or tables. Take was an option. We had lunch. $22 for 2 persons and taxes. Order soda. No coke. Go back. Good service.

We had the A Special for four people, it was absolutely delicious! Portions were generous. I can't say enough about the pork. I moved back to Chico after being in Iowa for almost 30 years, and it was one of the places where I couldn't wait to come back. While the property has changed during this period, the recipes and the ambience do not have. A great experience, as always. Will come back often!

Just another average food for good value spot.I had the lemon chicken lunch combo and wasn't impressed but not bad. I will go back and try something different, maybe on the chef's special . And hope I can give them more stars.
