Scotty's Landing - Chico

Love this place. Such the perfect dive y, river eatery exactly what we wanted after a day of tubing. The food was really good, fresh and delicious, and there was a local band playing (or maybe it was open mic night). Ambiance was friendly and relaxing. This is a local institution, I remember it from decades ago when I was a student, and I love that it's still going strong.

The place is a dump and should be condemned due to years of neglect. The food was okay, but nothing special.

Would like to share a review of the food but we never got served. Not worth your time unless you're already in with the in crowd.

This iconic dive bar has taken a nosedive. When we visited there a month ago, the place was so filthy, nobody with me would order food. When we tried to use the restroom as we left, it was out of order, filthy and had no door on the building. What a shame.... Its location on the Sacramento River can't be beat.

Cool place right along the river. You feel like you're in the south somewhere. The tall guy with the short hair that works there is a really nice guy too, just a gentle soul.
