I had seen advertisements for this restaurant for a few weeks and decided to give it a try after looking at the menu online. I'm glad I did. I arrived before 5:30 PM and there were only a few customers. I was warmly greeted and seated at a table. I placed my order and received my meal promptly. The food was excellent, as was the service. The restaurant has several TVs on the walls and a medium-sized bar, giving it a sports bar feel. Overall, it is a lovely restaurant and I plan on returning. I hope the community supports First Street Grill and that it is successful, as the staff is clearly working hard to make it so. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again soon.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff!Food was awesome. Got the Teriyaki Salmon and Grilled Pork Chop with Mac Cheese and Cajun Corn… super good! The Pork was super tender, didn’t use a knife, it melts in your mouth and the Salmon was cooked to perfection.A true gem in the middle of nowhere.
We had the best Dinner! We were traveling through Childerburg in April and we stopped for the Evening to get a bite to eat. The first place we went to had an Hr. Wait! So we found 1st street Grill and were so happy we did! The food was Excellent and the owner Sharara was so Friendly and made us feel like home! Great place to go!!
After a memorial service, we searched for restaurants near us and came across 1st Street Grill in Childersburg. We decided to give it a try and we were really glad we did. It is a soul food restaurant and we were impressed with the food. We started with fried green tomatoes and blooming onions, both of which were fried perfectly and some of the best we've had. For dinner, I ordered the 10-piece breaded wings with fried okra and Cajun corn as sides. The fried okra was homemade and cooked perfectly, while the Cajun corn was very tasty. My partner had the special, which was a fried chicken leg and wing, and it was cooked to perfection. For dessert, we shared a piece of Key Lime Cake, which was delicious. Our group of 13 had different items and everyone was pleased with their meal. The staff, particularly the young ladies working there, were attentive, friendly, and had great personalities. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
