Sumburger Drive-in - Chillicothe

There are no drive-ins in my area, so this experience was quite special. I tried the famous Double Sumburger, and I must say, it’s the best fast food burger I’ve ever tasted! It wasn’t overcooked, the proportions were just right, and the flavor was delightful. The people of Chillicothe truly don’t realize what a gem they have!

This quaint, charming diner has a nostalgic atmosphere and offers a fairly extensive menu with generally positive options. Each table is equipped with a phone that allows you to call the kitchen directly to place your order. For those who prefer a more casual experience, curbside service is available so you can enjoy your meal right from your car. I’ve always had a great experience here, and I highly recommend the double Sumburg plate or the Philly Steak. And if you're visiting during the right season, don't miss out on the delicious strawberry cake!

Everything is unique. Sit down and hang menus and order from a phone. I have a shake and a double-Cumburger cellar. Shake was thick enough to a blood vessel and burger so juicy I had to use a fork and knife at the end. Will be over next time.

Very good food, a throw back to the past. I haven't been here in 20 years! Same as always and clean. Service was quick and good.
