Society Gathering House - Chilliwack

Service was good, we had a party of 30 and they were right on top of everything, drinks were always topped up, and dirty dishes were cleared right away.

Miss the Social House! Had awesome ambience and both food and drink menu satisfied a wide range of tastes.

We did a casual reunion here and I think everyone enjoyed their time. We were a special party so some allowances may have been made but the staff were experienced and the joking between us and the staff was quite a lot of fun. The food was excellent for a pub and the drinks, no complaints at all. Thoroughly recommend the place.

Food good. Hubby asked for "just carrots" with his meal, and they obliged. His gravy was only lukewarm, but the Cordon Blue was piping hot. My Thai salad was adequate, with chicken. The server was really nice. The downside was the Manager. He stood by our table and conversed with a person from the adjacent table for at least 10 minutes, almost shouting.(It is noisy on a Friday night, I will give him that). But when we were leaving, our waitress was talking to us about the Lunch menu, and he rudely butted in and told her that there was a table waiting to be served. Not even an "excuse me", just more or less told her to "get moving".

Beautiful place but sort of a weird location. Food was OK.. Would definitely go back but everytime I've tried they seem to be closed... I would like to give this place a 2nd try if they are ever open when I'm available! :)
