La Petite Auberge - Chiltern

We had an absolutely fantastic special birthday meal for my father-in-law at this restaurant. The food was cooked perfectly, with the scallops and monkfish tarte au citron being thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had the beef fillet which was so tender it melted in the mouth. The service was impeccable.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The steak was cooked to perfection, the fish soup had an amazing flavor, and the wine selection was outstanding. The ambiance took me back to the 1990s, and it seems like the menu hasn't changed much since then. But with food this delicious, who cares? The service was excellent, although a bit slow, which is to be expected for a large group. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

When we are looking for a peaceful dining experience with delicious food and excellent service, we always come to this restaurant. Whether we are in the mood for fish or meat, this place never disappoints. The Monkfish dinner I had was absolutely delicious.

Been coming here once or twice a year for nearly 30 years now. Always really good. Limited menu, but quality and value superb. Great steaks, great fish and sublime puddings.

Incredible ambiance and food! Very personalised service with the most delicious wines and cheeses on offer. No vegetarian option really but absolutely delicious in every other way!
