Mad Squirrel - Chiltern

This is an excellent place in Amersham. The selection of beers is vast and they all taste great. We tried their lager and pale ale this time, both excellent as always. No surprise here, as they have their own brewery so everything tastes perfect. Food wise, I highly recommend their pizzas. Service is great too and the team is uber friendly.

Disappointing. The place seems to have given up on Cask conditioned ale. Now focus on this over priced “craft ale” The very nice Mad Squirrel session ale had gone and the staff had no intention of putting it back on. Offered an over priced craft beer instead. We had one round of 4 drinks, which with the exception of the drivers coke no one liked and then left. I wish I could enjoy paying £7.00 a pint for fizzy cloudy dish water but I can’t. I guess it’s time to move back North and enjoy some proper beer.

This is our local and we visit regularly. Best beer in the area and good pizzas. Friendly staff and nice place to sit out on sunny afternoons

Fantastic beer shop with great friendly staff especially Megan, Ali and Dan. Great selection of locally brewed craft beer

Been here a couple of times, the beers are the best and the pizzas are very good as well, they just need a few more starters and choice of few more topping, but overall good place for beer pizza and chill.
