Since my first visit around the time they opened, this restaurant has consistently impressed both me and my guests. The founders clearly aimed to create a welcoming atmosphere with excellent hospitality and delicious food. I make it a point to come once a month to try their new Flavor of the Month Cloud Pancakes, paired with a local coffee (which is a must!). Whether I'm dining in or taking out, they never disappoint, and that's why I absolutely love this gem.
This was our second visit, and I once again ordered the kimchi fried rice omelet, which I absolutely loved. She chose the breakfast sandwich and really enjoyed hers as well. To drink, I had their cold brew coffee, which was pleasantly strong, while she opted for an iced Mexican sidecar that was delightful. The staff was welcoming, polite, and attentive. We'll definitely return!
This place is an amazing choice for breakfast or brunch! It's easy to see why there's usually a wait of about an hour to get seated. The staff exudes positive energy, even while juggling a million tasks. I visited with my fiancée, and we both ordered two dishes from the menu, all of which were fantastic. The prices were quite reasonable, especially considering the current rise in food costs. I highly recommend the cookie butter latte—it’s delicious, especially with oat milk. If you're willing to wait for a table, this restaurant is definitely worth the visit!
We ordered the crème brûlée French toast, the curry bowl, and the tri-tip plate, accompanied by a drip coffee and a cookie butter latte. Everything was delicious! I chose the French toast because it was what my friend had been talking about. You know how sometimes something is built up so much that when you finally try it, your expectations are through the roof and you end up disappointed? Well, I’m thrilled to report that the French toast surpassed all the hype. It was PHENOMENAL! You get six thick, fluffy pieces of heaven for $14, and they come topped with crème brûlée cream and house-made whipped cream. Plus, the tops are sugar torched, giving a satisfying little crack when you cut into them. Our initial visit was for dining in, and since then, I've returned twice for takeout. If you're planning to dine in, be prepared for a wait unless you arrive right when they open. They have a 90-minute table limit, which is nice since it keeps things moving, but just keep in mind that the space is cozy and very popular for good reason. We’ve also tried the oats and spam musubi during our visits, and everything has been super tasty. Their coffee isn’t overly sweet, so if you prefer sweetened coffee, this may not be the best spot for you (though you can always add sugar if you’d like). However, the coffee is quite good with smooth flavors, and both of us enjoyed what we had.
