Essence Kitchen - Chino Valley

We love this place. The service is spectacular (thank you Darin)! the food is fantastic. Thank you for the bread to prevent us from actually licking the Caesar salad plate. From the bacon wrapped shrimp to the angle hair pasta and the mud pie such a wonderful experience. No question that we will be back!

It is a joy to have a meal at Essence. From the food and drinks to the service and ambiance, I am always impressed. The menu is varied while not being overwhelming and each dish I've tried is seasoned perfectly. I cant resist trying a new one of their cocktails everytime I go and each time I find a new favorite. I highly recommend it ????

1st time here based on a referral. Food and service was awesome! Julia(owner) is very personable and took the time to ask about us and our meal. Darren was our server. He was fantastic. The food and drinks were excellent! Highly recommend the pork sliders and bread pudding.

We had an excellent experience and have to say that this was probably the nicest fine dining experience that we have had in the Prescott area. The burger I had was outstanding and my wife?s filet minion was probably the best filet minion she?s ever had! Customer Service 5/5 They were nice from the moment we walked in the door with smiles on their faces the entire time. They were polite and the speed of service was great! Cleanliness 5/5 Very clean restaurant inside and out. Sweet Potato Fries 5/5 We got these as an appetizer and it was a quite generous portion. The texture on these was crispy on the outside, but melted in your mouth once through the outside. Probably some of the best sweet potato fries we?ve ever had! Burger 5/5 The burger I had was one of the best I?ve ever had. It had jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes and a very savory sauce that didn?t overwhelm the taste of the burger, which was very fresh. Filet Minion 5/5 We got it medium-well and it was cooked to perfection! Marshmallow Brownie 5/5 It was served beautifully and tasted wonderful! Overall 5/5 It?s rare that we give a 5/5 on every level, but these guys earned it! And did I mention the experience?!? Wow! Open kitchen!! It was pretty cool watching the head chef while at work. Definitely a date-night spot for anyone looking for one!

Very small place, reservations recommended. Cocktail/ wine choices are fantastic . Prices moderate. Had to wait a bit for the food, but food was great and fresh. Definitely will go back! Place is bringing a little upscale dining to Chino????????Chef came out to ask how things were!
