Shakey's Pizza Parlor - Chino

The place was clean. There was 8 of us 4 kids and 4 adults. We ordered 2 large pizzas, 8 chicken mojos and fire house pizza. 2 salad bars. The pizza was good, the chicken was over cooked and dry, when we brought it to the managers attention he was irritated and went in the back and began talking about the other employees not knowing that my husband was standing at the salad bar listening to them. Salad bar is not much but basic topping and dressing for a salad. The mojo's are still the best that I remember as a kid. The arcade was clean and the outdoor play area could use a cleaning.

We walked in at 6pm to watch the National Championship Game. It was empty. Before we started to order we were told they were out of Mojos. The manager said they've been out for an hour. I wanted to turn around and walk out the door but we stayed. We saw the cashier ask the manager if they could give us a discount because of not having Mojos (what they are known for) and he said no. Instead we were told we couldn't order their PCM combinations. Not a good look. We ordered pizza, chicken and a pitcher of beer. Beer was warm. We should've left. In the time that we were there 2 groups of people left once they were told no mojos.

I would like to preface that our usual Shakey's restaurant is the one in Upland, but for some reason, they never pick up the phone on Sunday's. I'm assuming it's because they are busy around this time. (NFL Playoffs) Because of this, we went to the Chino location. First off, it's a pretty large restaurant. Lighting is okay, and they do have the usual arcade section. We ordered the large PCM for take-out. The pizza was pan crust, and it's not even thick compared to Upland's pizza. The cheese tastes off. The crust is also bad. Our pizza even had a bunch of these hard black pieces all over. We should have gone back, but we were too hungry to waste another hour driving back and waiting for a new pizza. They charge 50 cents for ranch lol. What a joke. Upland Shakey's doesn't charge at all. Overall, this Shakey's is below par to other locations. We will never return to this location again.

Came in for the lunch buffet, this was the first time at this location and definitely my last! One word.. Horrible. Their lunch bar is small. There was nothing available. People stood in line waiting for 10 mins waiting for chicken, pizza, mojos etc. Clean dishes were DIRTY. I asked for butter and their response was, we don 't have butter. When I said you don 't have butter? They asked what I needed it for and then said we don 't give out butter. Only Shakeys that won 't give butter. I asked for cheese pizza to be made and the reaction was as if I was asking for something impossible. Over priced, horrible service and horrible food.

I called in a to-go order of fried chicken and moko potatoes. They told me the order would be ready on 20ish minutes. I drive over there and go in about 25 minutes after placing my order. I pay and wait. In a couple minutes they tell me that it will be another 15 minutes because the order didn't print in time to make my order. This, after I paid and gave a 15% tip. Poor service and they didn't offer me a drink for waiting the extra time.
