When you are kept waiting 50 minutes between the first and second course with absolutely no apology, the quality of the food (which was good) is rather ruined. At one point someone whom we supposed to be the owner came out and said food would be with us in three minutes. It was another 15 minutes before anything appeared. It was a busy Sunday lunchtime, we acknowledge that. But we arrived relatively early in the service and watched while people who arrived much later than us had course after course. Perhaps it was a case of discriminating against the foreigners.

Chioggia is small but beautiful town with long sandy beach. Restaurant serve fresh seafod accompanied with good wine selection. Kind staff!

Wonderful restaurant in Chioggia, well frequented by well-heeled locals. Exceptional quality with exceptional wine list. Well worth it's Michelin endorsement and, perhaps surprisingly, not overpriced.

All perfect during the pleasant Sunday lunch with friends, table booked in advance. Spectacular menu, including a pair of moeche in the fried dish. excellent raw and smooth appetizers. wide wine paper with important bottles but also excellent choices at affordable prices (see pieropan soave). impeccable service: always present and attentive but never intrusive or oppressive. adequate prices, but not disturbed.
