We have been here a few time for pre dinner drinks and light snacks and the staff have always been super friendly. The sangria is great and a very relaxed atmosphere to watch the passing parade of people. Central spot and open plan so if you have kids they are not under your feet - but have room to run around, play giant chess or just hang out around the square. We love the vibe of the place - even though we are certainly not young any more we still feel welcomed by this place and the tapas is great too!!
Not really a place I would think to attend, but you know what! I loved it!! Tapas was delicious, venue was quirky, staff were amazing and the cocktails fun! Will attend again! Yeah
I have been to Coco Cubano at Central Park a few times before for their breakfasts, which are amazing, and dinner was no exception. The restaurant is decked out really nicely, and it got surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. The service is a little slow, but the staff are friendly enough. The food was lovely though. The chicken jalapenos were absolutely delicious - I don't know what they put in the marinade, but it's amazing. I enjoyed my chai latte, especially because it was nice and hot - not luke warm, like some other places like to do. All up, a very nice place for a mid-week dinner.
Never have I been somewhere with such disgusting and rude staff and poor service. Firstly I had to go in for a menu then a waitress came to meet me and told me its table service. Was given the menus then she didnt come back for 20 minutes actually she didn't come back we had to go and get her. When she took the food order she asked if we wanted chips we stated we wanted the potatoe wedges. Meal comes out with sweet potato wedges. Took it back and she came back out with skinny chips and slammed down the plate, again expressed I asked for wedges. She takes it back comes out again unchanged and said they don't have wedges. Menu clearly states chips three ways. She then argues they are fat chips and it doesn't come with this option. We say we will pay extra then at the end they charge ys $8.50. Keep treating uour customers that way you won't have a business left. All the staff were rude and not attentive to satisfying customers. Won't be back again
Had a chance to try Coco Cubano Central Park New Menu on Thursday 6July. They offered 50% off between 12pm - 4pm as a promo. Most promos end up being **** as the food is either not worth it or just takes too long. It looked crazy busy and sometimes a bit chaotic but man oh man the food that came out tasted as good as it looked....Tried the new Southern Fried Chicken Burger and Fishermans Basket. The basket was really delicious with Fried Prawns, Fish and fresh soft calamari. It came with chips and a garlic aioli sauce and ws goooood. I liked the Southern Fried chicken as well. The slaw was a bit tangy and the chicken a little saltier than i prefer but still delicious. Finished it off with yummo churros in bite sizes and chocolate sauce. I loved it and I will be back. For such a busy time the food still only too about 15mins to get to me which was actually pretty perfect. I like the bright decor mixed with old school knickknacks and a lot has changed since the last time I was here and not just the menu. Even the staff looked really cool in their stripes and despite the stress were laughing and dealing with everyone with a smile. loving this new Coco Cubano vibe
