Connell's Supper Club Chippewa Falls

This was our first visit to Connell's since the new owners took over, and we were extremely disappointed. The salad bar was quite lackluster. Instead of warm bread, we were served cracker sticks. Our food arrived cold, and my steak was of very poor quality. Although the owner did give us a discount on the bill, it was still pricey. We left feeling hungry and don’t plan to return.

I can't begin to describe how disappointed I am. On Friday night, I visited this restaurant for the first time, and the beginning of the evening was fantastic. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the crackers and cheese made for a lovely snack. I ordered the dumpling soup, which was incredible. However, the wait for the cheese curds was longer than I'd anticipated. My boyfriend and I then ordered the bone-in ribeye and lobster ravioli. Unfortunately, we had to wait an hour for our meals, and when they arrived, my garlic mashed potatoes were cold, and the steak was overcooked.

I was really impressed! I ordered the chicken and ribs, which were enough for 2 to 3 people. My wife had the bourbon salmon, and both dishes were excellent with generous portions. I will definitely be coming back!

An old fashioned supper club! Which is a slowly dying scene in Wisconsin. Food is good but not phenomenal in my opinion. I give it four stars for the good vibes and service. Try their grasshopper ice cream treat. The best I ever had!

Service was good, old fashions average. We had prime rib and it was exceedingly fatty and tough and also Luke warm at best,salad bar below average. Overall I'd save your money and taste buds for another place.
