Lake Wissota Lodge And Event Center

Neil started our evening with excellent drinks and a friendly welcome. We got to experience an excellent sunset from the perfect spot at the Lodge. Then the food... excellent, bellisimo, superior. The only thing I would request is that the service be quicker and the server more attentive. I highly recommend LAKE WISSOTA LODGE!

We stopped at Wissota Lodge for the first time on Friday night as it’s close to our house and on the way home from work. At 4pm we beat the rush and it was quiet the whole time we were there. We were seated fairly quickly and the view looking over the lake was spectacular!One of the things that was a bit confusing was the bar/dinner menu. There was food on the website that was not on the dinner menu. Is there a separate menu and separate drink specials just for the bar?? This is very unclear by looking at the website but we didn’t get happy hour drink prices in the restaurant.My husband and I both ordered the fish— he ordered it battered and I ordered it blackened— his with fries and mine with garlic mashed potatoes. Our dinners also came with the house veg (asparagus) and dinner salads. The fish was $19.95. We both really enjoyed our food!! The fish was giant and cooked perfectly! The batter on the fish was perfectly light. We would definitely return for the fish!The service was okay… it took a while for our waitress to check on us after we got our food and it seemed they were busy setting up tables for the evening. Also, I do think it’s unprofessional for service staff to be on their phones in the dining room.Even with these hiccups we will return because the food was that good.

Terrible food. Got food poisoning. Dirty. No up keep. Terrible customer service.

We went for the special of the day and they were out of it. We stayed for some drinks and ran into some friends and had a good time. We will try the special next time.

I had the fillet steak with lobster bisque. Everything was delicious!This was the best steak I have ever had in my life. Cooked to perfection the sauce was perfect. Wow I will be back here for sure. It was a long wait for food but well worth it.
