Wissota Chophouse - Chippewa Falls

We had a wonderful experience start to finish! amazing service, delicious food/drink and great atmosphere!

The bacon appetizer is outstanding and will not disappoint. My filet was cooked perfectly rare as I ordered.

This was my fourth visit to the Chop House and once again the experience was great. All the employees were very attentive, very friendly and knowledgeable. Two appetizers were plentiful for the 6 of us and very delicious (charcuterie board and fried ricotta stuffed olives). The steaks were tender and perfectly cooked to our order. I would highly recommend this dining experience. Pricey, but well worth it.

My husband and I went to Wissota Chophouse in Chippewa Falls at 5:30 on a Saturday evening (last night to be exact). It was a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, and yet it still had a sense of liveliness that made you feel like you were having a night out on the town at one of the best places around. We don't get out much, so I really enjoy that type of ambiance. Our food was prepared to perfection! We first enjoyed the Mediterranean Flatbread, which was bursting with flavor and not overly heavy or filling, having just the right balance of toppings for the extra light and crispy base. My husband had the feature entre of steak and prawns assembled on a delicious cloud of butternut squash. I had the 5 oz. filet that you hardly need your (top of the line) steak knife to cut into, enhanced with a very generous mound of caramelized onions. The Garlic Chive Mashed Potatoes really hit the spot and were a more than generous portion for two people. My compliments to the chef! Then, as if that wasn’t enough fantastic cuisine to enjoy, we decided to check out the famous towering chocolate cake that we had heard about. Oh my goodness! Talk about a tower of chocolate deliciousness! So good…. come to think of it, most of it is in our refrigerator…. I know what I’m having for a snack soon….yum! And the very best part of our special date night was our lovely and very professional server, Becca. She’s the best! She made sure that our dining experience at Wissota Chophouse was top notch with her cheerful attentiveness and thoughtfulness. Thank you Becca! We’re very much looking forward to our next visit. :D
