Champs Bistro - Chisholm

Always a great place to go for a great quick evening meal. The pizzas are really good and go sat night before 7pm you can be in the meat voucher raffle. We have always had a nice meal . It is a club so can be very noisy with families and kids.

We go to this place every Thursday night for trivia for the past 3 years. I could probably count on 2 hands the number of meals that have been reasonable. We've been served raw chicken, constantly over cooked steak (need to ask for rare for it to come out medium) and the latest was green calamari in a seafood crepe. We sent the raw chicken back and they didn't offer a refund but instead gave a cheaper replacement and said it was 'compliments' of the chef. I lost money but that's ok! The green calamari was apparently not the chefs fault and was dye that leaked in the bag of calamari. No responsibility for serving green calamari. If it wasn't for meeting our friends here for trivia then there's no way I would ever choose to eat here. The floor staff are all lovely though

Had the $10 lunch specials that were of a decent size and flavour. 'Gluten free' options available. Friendly service and our order was accepted close to the closing for lunch. Rated very good for value as we had the lunch specials. Rating could be different when ordering other meals from the menu. Water is not readily available. Located in amongst the poker machines.

Fish not boiled, slept over the top. burger bun thick and hard, rice was stale and old mixed with fresh boiled rice. terrible!
