No need to eat sandwiches if your budget is limited, here you can have real dishes from Valdichiana at reasonable prices. Owners are young and friendly, photos will help you to choose your meal. Located in an old building in old town of Chiusi, it is recommended if you are just walking in town between an underground and antiquity museum visit and need to stop having good beers selected by lovers.
When it 's cold outside, rainy, (or a hot and thirsty day, and you find yourself between lunch and dinner, this family owned cafe ' serves up exactly what you need in a lounge atmosphere. Outdoor seating to people watch, indoor for the game on tv. Located just down the street from Chiusi 's premier attraction, (Etruscan Museum, the vibe is easy, prices moderate, menu by mamma! If you don 't see it, simply ask and they 'll adjust your order. It 's nicer to linger up in the ancient part of the city while waiting for a train, instead of down in the lower city by the tracks. A walker 's paradise of medieval alleys that open to Tuscan valley landscapes. Requisite artisanal shops and historic churches dot the area. Btw, pici is a thick noodle special to Tuscany, sort of a spaghetti length spaetzle, fabulous when made in-house and covered in any one of several local sauces. Heavenly stuff when you need a substantial first course.
