China King Buffet - Choctaw

This place is closed and another Chinese restaurant has taken its place. This one should be removed.

We will NOT be back. I was in the area running errands and saw there were quite a few cars in front of the place so I did an online order. After finishing my errands, I picked up the order. The restaurant was not clean. There was no one at the front to greet guests. There was only one family dining. The cars outside were for the nail shop next door! The buffet looked just OK and it smelled good, so I thought it would be OK. A nice lady finally came to the front and I got my order. Took it home. YUCK! The rice was completely overcooked to mush and the entrees were flavorless and the meat was super chewy. The egg rolls were good and there was a LOT of food they PACKED every container completely full.

Well, it has been 9 years since our last visit.... Not a lot different. The service was fast and friendly and our drinks never got low. That is a great plus. There was a good selection for a mid day buffet. The only real issue was the food temp, as I noticed was mentioned in other reviews. I am guessing the food would be easy 4/5 star fresh out of the kitchen. I didn't have the same old freezer taste most Chinese buffets have around town. The high light was the fresh snapped great beans. If they can get the food temp improved we will be regulars for a fast meal. Finally, presentation matters. The restaurant was disheveled with chairs and tables stacked on one side. I am a little OCD, I know, but it befs to question the status of the rest of the facility...

Really good food. It 's back in the corner of an old town plaza in Choctaw but the place has really good food. My son and I have been there a few times for lunch and the buffet is always fresh. It is a hole in the wall (as you will) place but very good. They have changed to plastic ware, plates and cups but hey! it hasn 't changed the food.

The food was not good it was the fist time trying it. I tried better Buffet food. when I got home i threw up because of it. I'm never coming back to it. DO NOT COME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The service was ok but can be better. The place is so small.
