Look, here is the deal there are not many places where you can find a decent, higher meal in the city of Ica. There are a few places, but the number of really good places can be counted on a...hand. With this disclaimer of the way Venezia is sufficient. Is the food great? Is the Pasta hand made and handcrafted? No. Is the wine list extensive and well cured? Not your life. However, the restaurant has a full selection of dishes and a fully acceptable service. In reality, perhaps the only reason to go to the square is its unique “pecan” pasta sauce and its gnocchi. The gnocchi is really good. Forgo on the pizza (it is like bisquick dough) and not disturb with the fetters it is not so good. Instead, order a cold glass of Chicha Morada and plate of Gnocchi and you will have good experiences.
Have you ever eaten glue? I do. For the first time in my life, in this restaurant. We had some sort of Tagliatelle, Ravioli and Gnocchi. The result was a kind of sticky connection. If you're looking for decent food, stay far. If you're looking for Italian food, stay away. If you need glue. Come on.
We went there as we love Italian food and we thought we should give it a try. We ordered cannelloni, lasagna, pasta a la putanesca and pasta Carbonara. I must say that the food was neither good nor bad but was far from Italian, I've...been lucky enough to have tried Italian food in Italy many times so I believe I can compare and this more Peruvian than Italian. The pasta had too much cheese on it and all the sauces for the different dishes tasted the same. I would not go back for the pasta's, maybe I would try the pizzas as this restaurant is well known for the pizzas. For what you get, the price is high. I liked the service.
Starting with the good service was good and the place is nice inside. But... the pizza is terrible. Conserved mushrooms and the base seems a frozen supermarket carton base. I had made better pizzas of 5 years!! And his not cheap!
