The Lakes - Christchurch

Fantastic. I had no better fish and chips. bark meat burger and steak sandwich also looked great. Top food. Top location.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. our waitress tonight was wonderful. very friendly, great feeling of humor, we even have an osterei by brandy snaps. very recommended to eat here. we're back on our next trip. we had breakfast here on the other day and were very impressed by the buffet.

We had a really nice meal here that more than met our expectations. All the staff were very nice and in particular the lovely lady from Macedonia. The only disappointment was that you couldn't get any appreciation of the view of the lake. Incredibly bright lighting inside, which the staff said could not be dimmed, ruined the ambiance as the decor was very nice. A simple dimmer switch would make a difference.

The food is really nice and have an excellent quality. The atmosphere is great although might be a bit expensive for a casual dining.

A lovely evening out shared with friends turned into a very disappointing experience waiting an hour for the entree another hour for our Luke warm mains and half and hour for drinks we were pleased we didn’t order the desert however the duty manager did apologise Abe it to late as we had already walked around the restaurant looking for service we are very reluctant to go back and try again
