Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We went in with no real knowledge of beers but the staff was friendly and talked about a few choices and helped select some nice drinks. Finger food mostly on the menu. Tried the fried squid which was tasty. Cozy and casual atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

It all depends what you like really. Great staff and terrific beer selection. An eclectic atmosphere suited to a quiet pint and long conversation. I have only recently discovered this place but have been back every time I'm in christchurch. The food is limited but very good.

Wide variety of house-brewed beers. Tried several and all tasted at least pretty good. Very comfortable seating and friendly staff.

Shared a favourably tasting hazy IPA in the evening with my partner, they had a substantial selection of their own beers among others, with a wide variety to choose from many of which were on tap. At our request the bar tender was kind enough to let us sample some beers before picking our pints. The pizza we had was also quite good. Loved the rather unique paintings on the walls and decor, giving it a darker feel, this contrasted well with the sheltered seating areas beside open windows/walls letting in the wind and sun. Tucked away down an alley, you feel privacy from the street with gentle exposure to the elements. If the place was not suggested to us I would've missed noticing it, just a short walk from the Hagley park area.

Many crafted beer choices! Highly recommend having a beer tasting to look for your beer! We love the haze beer with fruity taste. The vibe is very good for hang out and chat. Good beer place in the city!
