Had a great night with my gfs here...pity I had to work the next day so went home early! Good place to chill with friends...drank some lovely white wine. Prices were reasonable Bought fries which were perfectly cooked. Rugby was on so lots of cheering by patrons...lovely country pub...recommend to all Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Our bus trip was welcomed wholeheartedly to this pub when 30 of us descended there unexpectedly...the atmosphere was awesome and friendly...the beer was cheap, so we enjoyed several hours here...would definitely recommend the west Melton tavern for an arvo of convivial drinking...
Hit and miss with the fish n chips Last time fish batter was good tonight the batter was so thick could not even eat it
Really festive and great live music on Friday. Food is really good too.
