Get Roasted Cafe - Christchurch

Avoid purchasing food from this establishment, as I experienced food poisoning on August 23, 2019. I used to frequent this restaurant four years ago and the service and food were excellent at that time, but the quality has since declined. Save yourself the agony of food poisoning and the ensuing 24 hours of pain that I endured. I ordered a chicken roll with a processed, crumbled tenderloin, cheese, lettuce, and mayo. It was not the best, but I was hungry and ate it anyway. I have reported this incident to the CCC in hopes that the restaurant can improve its standards.

I recently ordered roast lamb at this restaurant, but the lamb was undercooked and the entire meal was lacking in flavor.

Get Roasted has been a local of mine for 10+ years where I occasionally lunch. Sadly in recent times the service has declined and today we were served a rediculously small serve of wedges (NZD$5.50). No serviettes or cutlery were served nor available to collect at the counter instead you are left either eating with your fingers or having to ask the server who is more interested in chit chat with customers.

Yesterday the 11th October 2018 my husband and I visited and got hot drinks around 12:30pm and the messed our order up I said take away they didnt do a take away the prefece customers stuff wasnt taken away or table cleaned well there and our drinks where frezzing cold very appaling service will not go here again

Get roasted is within Barrington Mall. Very open, not a romantic date location! Coffee is okay. Kids love the chips and gravy and hubby the roasts. Service is good.
