The Lamb - Christchurch

Had a really pleasant Sunday lunch. Good location and service

Good pub food. Great lamb shank but just ok ribs and overcooked onion rings. The service could be a bit better too.

Not family friendly at all! Won’t be returning to the lamb and as a local it’s very disappointing. Popped in, after a family dog walk for a quick pint. After a long wait for the I can only guess the newly training bar staff to serve us our drinks, we sat in the garden. Whilst waiting for our drinks there were a few rowdy gentlemen swearing at the top of their voices which was unpleasant enough for our children. Our children were outside playing when we were rudely interrupted by a member of staff asking us to keep our children quiet as there are people in the restaurant. I could not believe we were asked that after hearing all of the abusive language being shared at the bar. Poor service and poor behaviour toward local family’s!

Had fish and chips (fish of the day,) the personal was very helpful. many parking spaces. very comfortable sitting at the tables, other of our group had, burger, curry and meatcake, a quite large piece of fish, the chips were more like keile, very hot, we all enjoyed our meal times, there were 14 in our group no complaining, they take both cards

Great food, menu choice and service. beautiful interieur in restaurant area.
